Natalie Herbick was born on 31 December 1985 in Pittsburgh as the eldest of three children. As of December 2021, she is 36 years old.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she initially got experience in the journalism industry as a senior in college when she interned at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.
She then went on to work as a sports reporter for the station’s Steelers Saturday Night.
Later, Herbick also worked as a news producer, reporter, and evening news anchor at WTOV9 in Steubenville/Wheeling before joining Fox 8. She said that the most memorable time at WTOV9 was hosting the Jamboree in the Hills. “That was the time of my life. It’s where I realized I loved country music, and it technically is what got me my job at Fox8,” Herbick mentioned.

Mom’s Cancer
Herbick’s mother, Lisa Ann Herbick, died from ovarian cancer in March 2019. She previously referred to her mother as her hero, inspiration, and the most energetic person she knew.
She also paid tribute to her mother on Instagram and captioned it, “Simple words can never express the impact this woman made in my life. The world is a better place for my mom having lived in it, and we are better for having known her.” “Mom, your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget,” Herbick concluded.
Furthermore, in 2018, on the occasion of National Wear Teal Day to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness, she posted an Instagram image of herself and her colleagues dressed in teal-colored clothing. The journalist also expressed her gratitude to her FOX 8 family for helping to put a light on the cause, which had sparked her curiosity since her mother’s cancer diagnosis.
