Nadine Lustre is an actress, TV host, music video director, singer, and model. In Quezon City, Philippines, she took birth as Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre on 31 October 1993 to her mechanical engineer father Ulysses and mother Myraquel. She was the eldest among her three other siblings.
Lustre's parents enrolled her in Diliman Preparatory School in Quezon City for formal education. Later, she attended Colegio de San Lorenzo and graduated with a degree in Communication Arts.
Lustre has been active in the entertainment field since a very young age. At 12 years old, i.e., in 2002, she hosted a children's program called Storyland on the RPN channel. Lustre and James Reid started dating in 2016. Other than Diary ng Panget, they featured in several other movies together, including, Talk Back and You're Dead (2014), Para Sa Hopeless Romantic (2015), Beauty and the Bestie (2015), This Time (2016), etc. However, after four years, in January 2020, they announced the end of their relationship.
Nevertheless, they have been spotted in public several times, even after the breakup. While, they also collaborated on her recent music album Wildest Dreams, and it was launched under Reid's record label. Following this chain of events, her fans speculated that the couple had rekindled. However, Lustre's 2021 interview confirmed that she was not back with Reid and was still healing from the breakup.

On 22 November 2021, Lustre posted a picture of a man facing the sea on her Instagram, and Christopher Bariou was tagged. Bariou is an entrepreneur and the founder of Maison Bukana Resort in Siargao, the same resort where Nadine and her family spent their vacation. Her father, Ulysses, also shared multiple pictures of their vacation, where Bariou had joined the family.
Because of that, her fans speculated that Bariou was Lustre's new boyfriend. However, both parties have not made any formal confirmation.

Lustre has at least ten tattoos on her body, mostly on her fingers, wrist, arms, legs, and one on the waist. Each of her tattoos has a different and unique story. Namely, one tattoo on her finger, 'Oh la la,' depicted her love and admiration for the famous singer, Lady Gaga. Similarly, a lotus flower on her forearms reminded her of the struggles she needed to incorporate to find a beautiful ending.
