Vitar is popularly known for the roles he played as a child actor. He made his movie debut in 1993 from The Sandlot Kids. In the movie, he played the role of Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez.
Additionally, he also appeared in The Mighty Ducks second and third installments. After his role in The Mighty Ducks, Vitar started making occasional guest appearances in different movies and television shows but did not fully commit to any role.

Vitar was charged with assault charges after he and two other men tackled and placed a chokehold on a man in 2015. The incident occurred on 31 October 2015 near a Halloween party in Northwest Los Angeles.
The victim was attacked while walking down the street, handing out candy to children. Vitar and two other men chased him down the street and attacked him with the accusation that the candies were drug-laced. The investigation was conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery/Homicide Division. Eventually, they were fired by The Los Angeles Fire Department as the firefighters were off-duty.
Initially, Vitar was released on a $30,000 bail but was later charged with misdemeanor battery. However, he did not contest the allegations. Consequently, Vitar received three months’ probation and 90 days of community service. Additionally, he was suspended for six months without pay.
In 2018, Vitar appeared in the documentary The Legends Never Die: The Sandlot Story, his last credit.
