He then joined NBC News in August 2007 as a campaign reporter. In a February 2020 video titled 'The Biden Whisperer': NBC's Mike Memoli reflects on his years covering Joe Biden, Memoli shared that he traveled extensively with the then Vice President Biden during his White House years in his re-election campaigns. He had also traveled to different places around the world, including Europe, Middle East, and Asia, as a reporter for Los Angeles Times.
