Michael Galante is a renonwed US actor with numerous TV series and film credits. He is best recognized for his notable appearances in Switched at Birth (TV series), Good Trouble (TV series), Man in Box (Film), etc.

Who is Michael Galante?

Michael Galante is an actor born in Suffern, New York, on 1 November 1981. He has mainly earned recognition for appearing as the gay character Bryan in the TV series Good Trouble in 2019.

Galante has not given out his parents’ details to the media and the public. However, he regularly mentions them during media appearances and credits them for his successful acting career.

In an interview with Shoutout LA in September 2021, he talked about how his parents instated life principles and values in him. The values of being of service to humanity and humility have helped him throughout his career. In his own words,

“I need to give a massive shoutout to my wonderful parents for teaching me important principles and values from a very young age. Humility and being of service to others have helped me throughout my life. I probably live my life full of gratitude because my parents would remind me that there were always others who had a lot less.”

Galante has held 44 acting credits in movies and TV series since his debut in 2007. His first role was as a clubgoer in the film Gracie. The same year, he also appeared in 44 (movie), Three to Five & Glassy (movie), and As the World Turns (2007 TV series). His other notable works are in Man in a Box (2014 movie), Fall Into Me (2016 TV series), Switched at Birth (2017 TV series), The Haves and the Have Nots (2017-2021 TV series), etc.

He played Luca Barahona in ‘Switched at Birth.’

Switched at Birth is a teen drama on ABC's Freeform channel that centers around two young girls accidentally switched at birth in a hospital. Bay Kennish (portrayed by Vanessa Madeline) was born in a low-income family but grew up in a prosperous family. On the other hand, although born in a wealthy family, Daphne Vasquez (characterized by Katie Leclerc) was raised by a poor single mother. As a result, Daphne lost her hearing power at the age of three due to meningitis.

Eventually, both the girls and their families discover the truth and accept each other. Moreover, Bay’s family invites Daphne and her mother to live with them in their guest house.

The notable characters of this family drama include actors like Constance Marie, Lucas Grabeel, D.W. Moffett, Sean Berdy, and many more. Switched at Birth introduced Galante in its last season, i.e., season 5 in 2017. He played the character Luca Barahhona in a total of 6 episodes of the season.

Gay Role in ‘Good Trouble’

Good Trouble premiered on ABC’s affiliate cable channel Freeform in January 2019. It is a comedy-drama series first released as the spinoff of The Fosters (2013-2018 TV series). The series' plot follows Adams Foster siblings who move to Los Angeles to start their life’s next phase.

The leading actors in the Freeform TV series are Cierra Ramirez, Emma Hunton, Maia Mitchell, Zuri Adele, etc. In addition, the series introduced the Man in Box actor Galante as the openly gay character Bryan in its first season. His character Bryan appears as an event planner in a total of 9 episodes.

He Is Dating His Longtime Partner Kim Bradshaw

Galante has been in a longtime relationship with his girlfriend, Kim Bradshaw. He regularly shares her pictures via his social media handles and also mentions her during interviews and media appearances. Moreover, in September 2021, Galante talked with Shoutout LA about the strong support and inspiration he received from her throughout his life and career. He said,

“I also need to give credit to my long term girlfriend/partner who has been a rock in my life ever since I moved to Los Angeles. She has always been there to soften the blows, but has also inspired me to strive forward, and be relentless in my quest to achieve.”

Galante has not shared full details of his partner in the media. However, his Instagram posts suggest she is available on the handle as @kbrella. But again, she has kept her account private and only has around 500 followers on it.
