Melody Holt was born on 11 November 1985 in Alabama, USA. She grew up in a small town, Brundidge, Alabama. Although Holt spent her childhood in a small town, she always found ways to keep herself occupied. She learned to play the piano, participated in plays and competitions, and was also involved in school activities.
In 2004, she enrolled in Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and pursued a degree in Bachelor in Science. In 2007, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree with a major in English / Language Arts Teacher Education.

Personal Life
Holt was married to her ex-husband Martell from July 2008 to June 2020. The couple has four children. The two got divorced on 12 March 2021 in Alabama, citing "incompatibility of temperament" or "irreconcilable differences."
According to official papers collected by Bossip, each parent will have joint legal and physical care of their four minor children, with each parent establishing their weekly schedule. Neither parent will pay child support, but they will split the expenses. The estranged couple consented to dissolve all the business partnerships, and no alimony was awarded to either side.
