Damon Wayans' Ex-wife

Damon Wayans was married to Thorner for sixteen years, from April 1984 until they separated on 21 May 2000, following a divorce on 25 August 2000 for irreconcilable differences. According to court documents, Thorner requested joint legal and physical custody of the couple's four children, as well as spousal support, attorneys' fees, and costs. 

After their separation, Thorner moved with her children to the couple's Beverly Hills, California, home, while Wayans was in Santa Monica. After that, she has not been in any highlighting media news or appearances. However, she frequently appears on her children's social media accounts.

Damon Wayans is an American comedian, actor, and writer who began performing stand-up comedy in 1982. His first movie appearance was a quick cameo in Eddie Murphy's 1984 comedy Beverly Hills Cop. After that, from 1985 to 1986, he was a regular on the show Saturday Night Live.

In April 1990, Wayans co-created the Fox sketch comedy series In Living Color with his brother Keenen. The show lasted until 1994, but Wayans left in 1992 to pursue his movie career. He appeared in several films, including Mo' Money (1992), Major Payne (1995), Bulletproof (1996), The Great White Hype (1996), and Celtic Pride (1996).

Thorner and Damon Wayans' son, Damon Wayans Jr., was born on 18 November 1982 in Huntington, Vermont, USA. He is an American comedian and actor best known for his role as Brad Williams in the TV series Happy Endings (2011-2020). Wayans Jr. made his film debut in 1994 when he was cast as Young Kevin in his father's feature film Blankman. Later, he starred in his father's sitcom, My Wife and Kids, from 2001 to 2004. 

Wayans Jr. went on to pursue his career in acting and appeared in movies and TV series like Happy Endings: Happy Rides (TV Series 2012), Second Generation Wayans (TV Series 2013), Someone Marry Barry (Movie 2014), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (TV Series 2016), Love, Guaranteed (Movie 2020), and more. His most recent appearance was Monroe Grime in the 2021 movie The Harder They Fall.
