Damon Wayans is an American comedian, actor, and writer who began performing stand-up comedy in 1982. His first movie appearance was a quick cameo in Eddie Murphy's 1984 comedy Beverly Hills Cop. After that, from 1985 to 1986, he was a regular on the show Saturday Night Live.

In April 1990, Wayans co-created the Fox sketch comedy series In Living Color with his brother Keenen. The show lasted until 1994, but Wayans left in 1992 to pursue his movie career. He appeared in several films, including Mo' Money (1992), Major Payne (1995), Bulletproof (1996), The Great White Hype (1996), and Celtic Pride (1996).

Wayans was the executive producer of the drama 413 Hope St. from 1997 to 1998. He then appeared in Spike Lee's 2000 film Bamboozled.
