Fuller graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, California. He then earned a degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
After completing his education, Fuller moved to Los Angeles, where he began his acting career in the theater. His stage roles included the leading role of Frank in Steven Berkhoff’s hit satirical comedy play Kvetch (1986).
Fuller also worked as a Realtor for a decade before making his television debut in 1984 at age 31 on Knight Rider. Since then, he has appeared in more than 200 television and film projects.
Fuller’s notable film credits include The Running Man (1987), No Holds Barred (1989), Ghostbusters II (1989), Wayne’s World (1992), Anger Management (2003), and Midnight in Paris (2011). He also notably appeared in television shows like Psych (2006-2014) and Supernatural (2005-2020).

Psych 3: This Is Gus is the third installment of the Psych television movies. Based on Steve Franks’ television series Psych, the television movie was directed by Franks, who co-wrote the screenplay with James Roday Rodriguez.
Psych 3: This Is Gus follows Burton “Gus” Guster (played by Dulé Hill) and Shawn Spencer (played by Rodriguez). They both go rogue in an attempt to track down an estranged husband of Selene (played by Jazmyn Simon) before Gus and Selene’s marriage and the birth of their baby.
Fuller portrayed the role of Dr. Woodrow Juniper “Woody” Strode, the coroner operating at the Santa Barbara Police Department (SBPD) from Season Four of Psych.
