“Unfortunately, there sometimes comes a point where you begin to feel stagnant in your career, and the opportunities for growth become limited,” Quintero revealed to The Arizona Republic by email at the time. “That became very apparent for me over the past two years.”
Quintero also said that her future position will allow her to continue in Arizona and to contribute to the communities in a completely different role while remaining true to her basic ideals.
“As we've progressed into 2020-2021, I came to realize I'm not happy with the direction our society and country are headed in and I want to get more involved to help make a difference,” Quintero added.
After that, Quintero began her new position at the Arizona Senate Majority Caucus as the communications director on 29 November 2021.
