During college, Stefanski was a member of the football team Penn Quakers, the football team of the University of Pennsylvania.
The team won three Ivy League titles in 2000, 2002, and 2003 and became the first undefeated Penn team in a decade with a score of 10-0 in 2003. He became the team captain in 2003, and during his tenure, the team made a record of 42-7 overall record and a 32-3 mark in Ivy League play. Career
Stefanski was involved in football from his days in the Quakers football program, and he spent the 2005 season at Pennsylvania as Assistant Director of football operations. During this period, he coordinated all aspects of the Quakers’ day-to-day operations.
In 2006, Stefanski joined Minnesota Vikings as an assistant coach and worked directly with Head Coach Brad Childress. During his tenure, he handled administrative duties with some notable projects till 2008.
Stefanski received a promotion in 2009 in Minessota Vikings, for which he began working as assistant quarterbacks coach. He has a hands-on role in one of the most successful offense seasons in Vikings history.
From 2014 to 2015, he began working as a tight ends coach, during which Cook was able to become the eighth player in Vikings history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.
In 2016, Stefanski worked as a running backs coach. The Vikings suffered injuries with their offensive line during this time, but the season was still a successful one.
From 2017 to 2018, Stefanski worked as a quarterbacks coach and interim offensive coordinator for the final three games. During his work as the interim offensive coordinator, his guidance helped the unit to make two of its best showings of the season.
After his success as the interim offensive coordinator, he was promoted as Offensive coordinator for Minnesota Vikings in 2019. In 2019, under Stefanski, the Vikings made a 10-6 record while also earning their first road playoff win since 9 January 2005.
