Kathleen Bradley is a former model, singer, actress, and host. She won the title of “Miss Black California” in 1971, which helped kick start her career in Hollywood. In 1972, she appeared as a "Barker Beauty" in the show, The Price Is Right. She continued the role till 2000, and it is her most recognized role. In 1990, Bradley became the first African American Model to become one of the “Barker’s Beauties.”
In 1975, she became a part of a female singing group called Black Beauty Queens. Motown Records signed the group in 1975. Unfortunately, the group was dropped by the label. The band later recorded and released a track called ‘Love Machine.’ It was recorded by the Miracles and added to their City of Angels album. They also changed their musical group name to The Love Machine. The group worked with many well-known entertainers such as Julio Iglesias, Tom Jones, Redd Foxx, and Duke Ellington.
She can also be seen in the 1989 movie Harlem Nights and 1995 movie Friday.
Bradley co-hosted a documentary web series Once Upon a Lifetime People and Pioneers and worked as a host in the talk show, For Women. She later moved on to work with a musical group, Destination. The group was put at the top of the Billboard charts for their remake of Curtis Mayfield’s Move On Up.
