Joyce Collins Bulifant is an American television and film actress and director. Her earliest role on television was as a dancer at Arthur Murray's Dance Party (1950-1960). She also played Timmie Barnes in Too Young to Go Steady (1959), Lois on It's a Man's World (1962-1963), Mary Gentry in Tom, and Dick and Mary (1964-1965). 

Subsequently, in the 1970s and the 1980s, Bulifant appeared in several notable TV shows. She played Marsha Patterson on The Bill Cosby Show (1969–71), Marie Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977), Peggy Wilson on Love Thy Neighbor (1973), Marjorie Martin on Big John, Little John (1976-1977), and Alice Wurlitzer on The Bad News Bears (1979-1980). In addition, she was heard as the voice of Queen Vanda on the syndicated cartoon series Sport Billy (1979-1980).

Bulifant also made guest appearances. In 1961, she appeared as Jessica in the episode 'Fraud' of Tales of Wells Fargo. She also played an intended murder victim in an episode of Thriller (An Attractive Family) in the same year. Bulifant then appeared on Perry Mason in the 1964 episode 'The Case of the Ice-Cold Hands,' where she played the innocent defendant Nancy Banks.

She also made an appearance on The Real McCoys in an episode in 1963. She would later play Miriam Willoughby on Flo, star in the film Airplane!, and play the mother of David Spade's character on Just Shoot Me!, among other guest roles. Bulifant also starred in Weird Science from 1994 to 1997 as Emily Wallace, the mother of her son Gary Wallace, played by John Asher.

Bulifant has had five marriages. She had two children, Mary MacArthur and Charles MacArthur, with her first husband, James MacArthur (2 November 1958-1967). MacArthur was an American actor and the son of actress Helen Hayes and author Charles MacArthur.

Bulifant then married Days of Our Lives, actor Edward Mallory (19 September 1969–1974). The two had one child, John Mallory Asher.

After that, she married her third husband, William Asher 28 August 1976–1993), who adopted her son John and gave him the surname Asher. Bulifant then married her fourth husband, Glade Bruce Hansen, for a short time in 2000, but the couple split in 2001.
