Josh Stamberg is an actor born on 4 January 1970 in Washington, DC. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he pursued philosophy and acting and played soccer, and he spent his fourth through twelfth grades at the Maret School.

Movies and TV Shows

Stamberg debuted his acting career in the TV series Spin City in 1998. In the same year, he also appeared in TV shows such as Law & Order and Sex and the City. In 2000, Stamberg appeared in the movie The Photographer and the television series The $treet.

During early 2000, Stamberg starred in several credits such as The Time Machine (movie 2002), Washington Heights (movie 2002), Anything But Love (movie 2002), CSI: Miami (TV series 2002), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (TV series 2004), Six Feet Under (TV series 2003-2004), and more.

In 2006, Stamberg was cast in one of his popular roles, Stephen, in the TV series Courting Alex. He reprised the role for ten episodes.

Since then, he has appeared in TV series such as Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006-2007), Men in Trees (2008), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2010), The Whole Truth (2010-2011), Drop Dead Diva (2009-2012), Parenthood (2013-2014), The Good Wife (2015), Law & Order True Crime (miniseries 2017), and many more.

Parenthood 

Stamberg landed one of his most popular roles, Carl Fletcher, in the TV series Parenthood in 2013. He played the role for one year, appearing in nine episodes.

The characters on the show are arranged in a family tree, with Zeek, played by Craig T. Nelson, and Camille Braverman, played by Bonnie Bedelia, acting as the patriarch and matriarch, respectively. They conceal their issues for the benefit of their now-adult children, which allows them to maintain their foundation after 46 years of marriage. 

Firstborn Adam, played by Peter Kraus, who owns a shoe firm, lives with his wife, two kids, and other family members in a shared house. At 38, Sarah, played by Lauren Graham, the unstable daughter, moves back in with Zeek and Camille to live with her rebellious daughter and sensitive son.

Crosby, played by Dax Shepard, is a jovial bachelor living in the here and now on a moored yacht. Erika Christensen plays the breadwinner lawyer Julia, whose husband handles the stay-at-home parent responsibilities. Each family will confront unique difficulties, but how they choose to take them will determine whether they remain as a unit.
