Josh Holloway is an award-winning actor and fashion model born on 20 July 1969 in California, USA. Though his parents' names are not available, his father is a professional surveyor, and his mother, a nurse. 

Holloway graduated high school in 1987 from Cherokee High School in Canton. He then joined the University of Georgia for higher education but discontinued his studies due to financial reasons. 

However, the decision doesn't take his future at stake as he was not very much interested in studies from a very young age. Instead, Holloway had a passion for acting and movies. Thus, he moved to Los Angeles and began his career as a runway model, simultaneously looking for acting opportunities. He worked for several famous brands, including Calvin Klein and Donna Karan.

In addition, Josh played lead character James "Sawyer" Ford in the TV series Lost from 2004-2010. In 2011, he starred in the TV film Five and later went on to play lead roles in the 2014 series Intelligence and the 2016 series Colony. Josh has recently appeared in a recurring role in the 2020 drama series Yellowstone on Paramount Network.

Alongside TV series and shows, Josh Holloway has garnished his career with numerous movies. He played Loren Carol in the 2002 film Moving August. Later in 2007, he appeared in a lead role in the 2007 horror movie Whisper, 2009 comedy film Stay Cool, 2013 dance film Battle of the Year, 2013 thriller film Paranoia, and 2014 action thriller Sabotage 2014. 

Moreover, Josh has also starred alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible-4. He portrayed the murdered IMF agent, Trevor Hanaway.
