Later, he relocated to Los Angeles and went on to perform on popular improv comedy platforms such as Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza (2011), Trust Us with Your Life (2012), Whose Line Is It Anyway? (2013-2021).
Mangum was also a cast member of the five-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show The Wayne Brady Show between 2001 and 2004 and a co-host of the game show Let's Make a Deal since 2009, along with Wayne Brady.
Mangum is also an actor who began his on-screen career with cameo roles in several episodes of a variety of comedy series such as Clarissa Explains It All (1993), Fortune Hunter (1994), and Seaquest DSV (1994).
