Early Age

John Robert Magaro was born on 16 February 1983 in Akron, Ohio, to father James Magaro and mother, Wendy Magaro. His mother is a Jew, while his father is from Italy. They both served as school teachers in Munroe Falls, Ohio.

Magaro grew up Jewish in Munroe Falls and completed his primary and high school education at the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District. After graduating high school, he relocated to Pittsburgh and joined Point Park University to study theater.


On 10 December 2016, John Magaro married Janice Hong. The two first met at Magaro's brother's marriage in 2012. The two soon got along and stayed in a relationship for a few years before tying the knot.

The couple welcomed their daughter in March 2020. They are yet to disclose the child's name.


John Magaro's height is 5 feet 7 inches (1.7 meters).
