'The Social Network'
The Social Network is the 2010 biographical drama film directed by David Fincher based on Ben Mezrich's 2009 book titled 'The Accidental Billionaires.' The film chronicles the story of a Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg, who created a social networking site called Facebook, and it soon became a global social network.
Though he becomes the youngest billionaire in history within a few years, his journey to success leads to both personal and legal complications. First, twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss sue him, claiming that he stole their idea. He is also sued by the co-founder Eduardo Saverin, who was later squeezed out of the business.
Actor Jesse Eisenberg played Mark Zuckerberg while Getz portrayed the role of Sy, a lawyer to Jesse Eisenberg's character, in The Social Network. Speaking about his character's psychology in the film in a December 2020 interview with Forbes, Getz said, "There are a lot of moments in those scenes where you don't really know. I don't know if it's not knowing if you're on the right side, but not knowing exactly what one is dealing with. No one's a villain in their own life. In the scene itself it was as much about managing them as it was about wondering what exactly the truth of all this might be."
In addition to that, he also credited the director David Finch for imprinting the deposition scenes which went on to become one of the heavy portions of the movie. "In David [Fincher’s] way, this was put together tiny piece by tiny piece. He's a meticulous filmmaker. And so the emotional effect of it has a great deal to do with his shots and cutting, as much as it has to do with any of our individual talents. But it didn't feel emotionally heated in the space partly because it was, as I say, bits and pieces here and there. It's curious."

Getz was married to his wife, Grace McKeaney, from 1987 until their divorce in 1996. The couple together shares one daughter named Hannah.
