Jeremy Michael Greenberg was born on 24 December 1971 in Vestal, New York. He was initially a basketball player coached by his father, Mickey Greenberg, a coach and English teacher. He played varsity level basketball alongside his two brothers.
He began acting in 2000 as Drake Rogers in the series Strangers with Candy. Following that, he was Grant Sorenson from 2000 to 2001 in Roswell, then appeared as Daniel Brackett in Crossing Jordan in 2002, as Lt. Cmdr. Justin Bentley in JAG in 2003, and Dr. Robert Platt in The Practice in 2004.
After that, Davidson had multiple minor roles in Law & Order from 1999 to 2006. While in 2007, he played the role of Mr. Rabbit or Henry Roman in the series The Kill Point.
In 2010 he played the role of President's Secret Service Agent in the movie Salt. The same year he was also in Brothers & Sisters as Jack Randall, then as Richard Parks in Pan Am from 2011 to 2012.
