Pumphrey also revealed he had another heart attack about six months ago, and two of the three arteries that feed his heart were completely blocked. As per the same Instagram post, the heart disease runs through his family.
Pumphrey’s father died at 48 years old, and his elder sister got the attack before she was even 30 years.
He was treated at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. Pumphrey also expressed his gratitude to UCLA medical staff for saving his life. “I want to thank the team at Donut for telling me to focus on getting well and they’d take care of the rest,” he added.
