Jacqui Heinrich is an American Emmy Award-Winning journalist who works for Fox News Channel as the network correspondent. She is also a co-host of the FOX News Rundown program on FOX News Audio. In September 2018, she joined the network as a general assignment reporter stationed in New York.

At Fox, she covered the Democratic and Republican National Convention on the campaign trail for the 2020 presidential election, providing on-the-ground reporting.

Before that, as a reporter on Boston 25 News, she covered many breaking news stories, including the horrific mass massacre in Las Vegas in October 2017, the catastrophic trench collapse in Boston's South End, and Erich Nowsch's trial. She is a three-time 'Emmy Award' winner and the ‘2017 General Assignment Reporter of the Year for the Boston/New England' division of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Early Bio and Education 

Jacqui Heinrich was born on 21 November 1988 in New England, USA, and grew up in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. She joined the George Washington University School in 2007. She graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs, religion, and anthropology.

Before that, she also studied Political Science at Duke University in 2006. While studying there, Heinrich completed TIPS Education Selective Summer Studies Program and earned the highest marks in coursework. 

Early Career 

Heinrich began her professional career as an Intern with the United States congressional representative John Culberson from December 2007 to May 2008. She gained administrative and research skills as well as coordinated the 2008 Bill Archer Student Intern Program. It is an annual conference for select high school juniors studying government and policy.

She also provided guided tours of the Capitol and prepared communications in the congressional representative's name for correspondence with constituents in the 7th District.

Henrich then served as an Intern with the Chief Washington Correspondent for MSNBC, Norah O'Donnell, from August 2010 to December 2010. During her internship, she researched for appearances on MSNBC News HourToday Show, and Andrea Mitchell Reports, keeping track of 10-15 media outlets for emerging themes. 

Heinrich took part in Avid workshops for producers. She then contributed to Dateline and Nightly News segments during the 2010 midterm elections for the US House and Senate. She also worked with NBC workers at beat locations - Capitol Hill, Pentagon, and State Department.

Rise to Prominence 

In December 2011, Heinrich started her television career as a one-man-band reporter for Colorado Springs' NBC affiliate, KOAA. She shot the video, wrote, and edited, it throughout her time on the show. For her investigation into legal loopholes regarding meth lab cleanup rules, Heinrich was awarded an 'Emmy Award.'

She covered political, crime, and investigative stories. During the 2012 presidential election, Heinrich interviewed Mitt Romney, who was nominated for President, and covered campaign stops by the then-Vice President Paul Ryan and then First Lady Michelle Obama. She was also an anchor for KOAA's Happening Now Desk on Saturday mornings. She worked at KOAA for one year and eight months and ended her tenure there in July 2013. 

Then, she joined as a reporter and anchor for KTNV Channel 13 Action News in September 2013. Heinrich reported on a variety of topics, with a focus on politics, crime, and investigative reporting. She also pitched business story ideas, followed up the ongoing coverage, and developed leads. As needed, she filled in as the weekend and night-time anchors.

Boston 25 News

In February 2016, Heinrich joined as an anchor for Boston 25 News. She covered major stories, including the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas in October 2017. Heinrich was the first to release exclusive photographs from within the Mandalay Bay shooter's hotel suite.

Heinrich had also reported the deadly trench breakdown in Boston's South End and the trial of Erich Nowsch, the shooter charged with killing a local mother in a road rage incident. She was voted the best reporter in the Boston/New England region for her efforts. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences also honored her as the ‘2017 General Assignment Reporter of the Year.' 

FOX News

In September 2018, Heinrich joined Fox News as a general assignment reporter in New York. In making the announcement, President of FOX News, Jay Wallace, said, "As we continue to expand our newsgathering operations, we are pleased to welcome Jacqui whose breaking news experience will make a great addition to the FOX News team."

Heinrich expressed her gratitude and added, "I am thrilled to make the transition from the FOX Boston affiliate to FOX News Channel as a correspondent. Working at the national level has been a dream of mine and I am beyond humbled to continue my journalism career as a reporter for this network."

Heinrich covered the Democratic and Republican National Convention on the campaign trail for the 2020 presidential election, providing on-the-ground coverage. In March 2021, she was promoted as a congressional correspondent for FOX News Channel.

Following that, in 2022, while questioning President Biden for Fox News with regards to the growing Russia and Ukraine Conflict, Heinrich's pressing remarks were labeled as stupid by the President. The alleged remarks created an outrage on Twitter where many claimed that such remarks on Heinrich were sexist. Nevertheless, Heinrich continued focusing on the pressing concerns of the conflict on her Twitter.

Heinrich also co-hosts the podcast FOX News Rundown program on FOX News Audio. The FOX News Rundown is a daily news podcast that airs every morning. On 21 September 2018, Sahlhoff's post revealed that the two celebrated their third anniversary together. He also referred to Heinrich as his "special bean" in the post.
