Grete Griffin, née Šadeiko, is an Estonian heptathlete, fitness trainer, and owner of Glow Fitness. 

Who is Grete Šadeiko?

At age 17, Šadeiko took part in the 2010 World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada, representing her country, the Republic of Estonia. She earned the fourth-place in the competition. 

Šadeiko specialized in the heptathlon that combines seven different track and field events into one race.

After completing high school from Türi Ühisgümnaasium in 2012, she attended Florida State University on a full athletic scholarship. At FSU, Šadeiko was a member of the college track and field team. 

She reappeared in the World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain, in 2012 and was ranked ninth in the competition. She also took part in the European U23 Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2015 and placed fifth in the competition. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from FSU in 2017.

After graduation, she subsequently launched her career as a fitness trainer. She also became an executive director of the Robert Griffin III Foundation in 2017. 

In April 2020, she founded Glow Fitness, a fitness company that provides bodyweight at-home workouts programs.

In addition, Šadeiko has also been a brand ambassador to several brands. In February 2021, she became a brand ambassador to A88CBD, a cruelty-free, natural, premium CBD brand. She previously served as a brand ambassador to ASICS Corporation, Nike, and BabyBrezza.

Šadeiko started dating her now-husband, American football quarterback Robert Griffin III, in 2016. They got engaged in May 2017 and eventually exchanged wedding vows on 10 March 2018. 

The couple together has two daughters. Their first daughter, Gloria Griffin, was born in July 2017, and their second daughter, Gameya Griffin, was born in September 2019.
