Chan has been married to her husband, Mark Kono, for a long time. She has not yet spilled her wedding date in the media. However, at a news segment on KTLA 5 Morning News in July 2021, she revealed information about how they first met.
Like Chan, her husband, Mark Kono, is a media reporter. In addition, he is also a helicopter pilot. She was working at the radio station KIIS-FM as a traffic reporter when Mark first heard her voice.
