The crime drama series 'Mr. Mercedes' premiered on the Audience Network on 9 August 2017. The show follows a storyline where an unsolved murder case titled Mr. Mercedes haunts a retired detective Bill Hodges portrayed by actor Brendan Gleeson. The case was about the death of 16 job seekers murdered by a person who ran over them with a stolen Mercedes car. Ebert began appearing on the show from the third season in 2019 and appeared in all ten episodes portraying the new killer of the series named Morris Bellamy.

Gabriel Ebert is a theater artist, TV and film actor, and TV personality. His fans primarily recognize him as Morris Bellamy from one of his recent TV series Mr. Mercedes (2019).

Ebert made his acting debut on TV in 2012 with a guest appearance in the series Made in Jersey. He landed his first film role as Max in the 2015 film Ricki and the Flash three years later. 

He appeared in two other major films the same year, including The Family Fang and Jane Wants a Boyfriend. Similarly, his other notable works include The Good Fight (2019 TV series), The Mandalorian (2020 TV series), News of the World (2020 Film), Dickinson (2021TV series), etc.

Gabriel Ebert was born Gabriel Quinn Ebert in Denver, Colorado, on 14 May 1988. Although he has not disclosed his parents' names in the media, his father is a counselor and a minister, while his mother is a businesswoman and occupational therapist.

Ebert attended The Juilliard School and studied acting and drama at its Drama Division. He also went to the Denver School of the Arts.

Besides TV and films, Ebert also holds numerous credits as a stage actor. He began his acting career with an understudy theater role as Ken in the 2010 play Red, directed by John Logan. The same year he played Stanley in another theatrical Brief Encounter.

It followed Ebert's most praised performance in the successful musical Matilda in 2013. In this play, he portrayed Mr. Wormwood, the father of the titular character Matilda. 

For this role, Ebert earned his first-ever 'Tony Award' in the category of 'Best Actor in Musical.' Before that, he had won the 2012 'Obie Award' for his outstanding portrayal of Leo in the play 4000 Miles.

Additionally, Ebert's other theater roles include Robin Hood in The Heart of Robin Hood (2014), Jonathan in Casas Valentina (2014), Rach in Preludes (2015), Rufus in Gently Down the Stream (2017), Alan Conway in Time and the Conways (2017), etc. Recently, he played Ossifer in the theatrical Pass Over in the August Wilson Theater.

'Pass Over'

Pass Over is the 2021 broadway production that follows the two main characters, Kitch portrayed by Namir Small Wood and Moses, played by Jon Michael Hill. The play's storyline revolves around these two young men trying to get out of their hood and changing their lives.

In this play, Ebert appears as a white cop Ossifer. Unfortunately, there are no further details about his character on credible sources.

'Mr. Mercedes'

The crime drama series Mr. Mercedes premiered on the Audience Network on 9 August 2017. After a 10 episode first season, the channel renewed the series for its second installation and began airing on 22 August 2018. Furthermore, the third season also the last of the franchise, last aired on 12 November 2019.
