Froggy Fresh, birth name Tyler Stephen Cassidy, was born in January 1990 in Michigan to father Bradley Cassidy and mother Renee Cassidy. He went to Bendle High School in Burton, Michigan.
Career
Fresh uploaded his first YouTube music video, 'The Baddest,' under the rap name Krispy Kreme on 20 April 2012. The music was laced with his southern accent and it became the highlight of the song. Within one month, the video was featured in online magazines, by the famous YouTuber Ray William Johnson on his channel =3 and other platforms.
After the success of 'The Baddest,' Fresh released his second single, 'Haters Wanna Be Me' on 14 May the same year. This song also went viral. The Complex named the song 'No. 20 greatest music video of 2012'.
On 31 May, Krispy Kreme dropped another song, 'Best Friends,' a more serious rap than his previous ones. He then released 'Girl Work It,' on 15 June, 'Stolen Bikes' on 6 July, and 'Coolest Guys' on 19 July.
Krispy's seventh song, 'The Fight,' was released on 24 August, followed by 'Denzel Washington' on 14 September, 'Me and Daniel Tosh' on 2 October, 'Halloween on 31 October, and 'Christmas' on 21 November.

On 3 December 2012, Cassidy uploaded a video on his channel explaining that his father received a call from the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Company warning him of a possible trademark violation. Therefore, he announced that there would be a change on his pen-name from Krispy Kreme to Froggy Fresh. He also noted that he used to catch fish as a young boy, which became an inspiration for the new name Froggy Fresh.
First Album 'Money Maker (Reloaded)'
Froggy Fresh made his album debut on iTunes in December 2012. The CD version of the album included both released and unreleased tracks such as 'ER,' 'Mike's Mom,' and 'Same Old Kid.'
Fresh's debut single with a music video was the song 'Same Old Kid' released on 9 January 2013. On 26 January, he released the official album Money Maker (Re-Loaded), and it debuted on No. 3 of the 'Billboard Comedy Album list.'
Fresh re-uploaded the music videos that were released under Krispy Kreme on 15 February. On 4 March, he released another single music video, 'Mike's Mom.'
Second Album 'Dream Team'
Although Fresh announced the preparation and release of his second album, Dream Team, in 2013, it was released only in October 2014.
The album teaser was released on 8 October, and it contained clips from unreleased music videos for the tracks of the album. There were 12 songs, including the seven original songs, 'Halloween II,' 'Reindeer Games,' 'Friday the 13th', 'Fun Trip,' 'Push Me,' 'You Gon Get There,' and 'Go Kart Love, followed by pre-released 'Dunked On,' 'Stolen Bikes 2', and 'Street Rangers,' along with two remixes of 'Halloween II,' and 'Push Me.'
Fresh then continued releasing the music videos for the album's tracks, beginning with 'Halloween II.'
In addition, he also dropped a non-album single 'Jimmy Butler Is Your Father,' and its music video, on 9 May 2015, followed by 'Street Rangers 2', 'Nightmare on My Street,' 'Zombie in My Basement,' and 'Good Guy Shoes' on the same year.
Tours and Other Ventures
After the Dream Team album, Fresh took a break and went on touring. He returned to making new songs and tracks only in 2017.
On 28 April, he announced a tour with DJ Austin Aswell in Charlotte, North Carolina. He then toured with Money Maker Mike in the Southeastern part of the United States from June to October 2017.
In addition to his identity as Froggy Fresh, he began releasing songs in his original birth name Tyler Stephen Cassidy. He also registered the songs under his birth name on the International Standard Musical Work Code (ISMWC) database.
Fresh then launched his official merchandise Froggy Fresh LLC under the ownership of Tyler Cassidy at the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Since 2018, Fresh began publishing his songs under his originally named YouTube channel Tyler Cassidy Music.
