Francie Swift is an actress born Frances Doretta Swift on 27 March 1969 in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1987.
She made her on-screen acting debut in the 1986 film Vamp, appearing in the role of Dominique. She later appeared in films like Scent of a Woman (1992), Two Weeks Notice (2002), Descent (2007), Cop Out (2010), All Good Things (2010), and Thoroughbreds (2017).
The film actress parallelly pursued a successful television career. She made her television debut on The Wright Verdicts episode 'Unlucky Star' in 1995. She then played Kelly Krieger in the 1996 thriller drama television movie Kiss and Tell.

'Thoroughbreds'
Thoroughbreds is a black comedy thriller film written and directed by Cory Finley. It follows the story of two upper-class suburban girls, Lily (played by Anya Taylor-Joy) and Amanda (played by Olivia Cooke), who reconnect after a tragedy.
The girls, who had previously been best friends, grow apart after the death of Lily's father and reunite for an SAT tutoring session.
Amanda has a mental disorder that makes her emotionless, while a prim and proper Lily silently accepts to live a life as dictated to her by her detached mother (played by Swift) and her hyper-functional, super controlling stepfather Mark (played by Paul Sparks).
After the reunion, the two girls conveniently rekindle her friendship and eventually become partners in their plan to murder Mark.
