Ozark is a thriller crime drama series created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix. It follows a Chicago financial advisor-turned-money launderer Martin “Marty” Byrde (played by Jason Bateman). He suddenly relocates his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder money to appease a drug boss.
Solis portrays the role of the head of the Navarro cartel Omar Navaro, who serves as the unseen overarching antagonist in the first and the second seasons. He began appearing in the third season of Ozark when his character became the main antagonist of season three.
Omar is the boss of Marty and the entire cartel members. He is shown to be a very calculating and heartless person who doesn’t care much for the people around him as long as they do his bidding. Marty and Wendy continuously try to seek his approval.
