Although Sclafani began to achieve media attention and TV fame as Bayless’ wife, she herself has a career that has already spanned over 30 years. Beginning in 1985, she worked for around ten years at Bally of Switzerland as their in-house public relations director.

After going out for four years, Bayless proposed to her for marriage during their flight from Newark to Oklahoma in 2010. The pair remained engaged for another six years before they took their wedding vows on 18 July 2016.
