Drew Scheid is a renowned American television and film actor. He was born in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, on 8 January 1998. However, he grew up in the Lancaster area.

While in Lancaster, he studied at Manheim Township High School. Upon graduating, he returned to his native land, North Carolina, with his parents. He put up an application to join the University of North Carolina there, but unluckily, he did not get accepted the first time. However, he did not give up and later received an offer from the university and graduated in 2016.

Scheid began his acting journey in 2017 with a short film, The Last Cross. After that, he landed a small recurring role as a teenage boy in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2017). 

In 2018, the actor appeared in movies like HalloweenGoosebumps 2: Haunted HalloweenKansas City, and the TV series Insatiable. The following year, he received his first significant part in the BYU TV series Dwight in Shining Armor (2019-2021).

'Drought'

Drought is an award-winning 2020 film that follows a storyline of an autistic teen, Carl, played by Drew Scheid's brother Owen Scheid. Moreover, Owen himself is an autistic person, making him the authentic representation of the autism community.

Drew Scheid played the role of Lewis, a family friend of Carl in the movie. The film is set in Wilmington, North Carolina. The production crew filmed it in 2018 and later released it in 2020. 

The film's star cast also includes Hannah Black, Megan Peterson, and Jane McNeill.

Drought received positive reviews from the audiences and the critics. Moreover, it received several award nominations and won a few of them. It won the 'Audience Award 2020' at the Vail Film Festival for 'Best Film.'

Scheid has recently appeared on several television series and films. Lately, he was seen as Oscar in the 2021 film Halloween Kills. The other actors in the movie were Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Jamie Lee Curtis. 

Additionally, he also acted on Fear Street: Part Two-1978 (2021 film), Mare of Easttown (2021 TV series), Dwight in Shining Armor (2019-2021 TV series), NCIS: New Orleans (2021 TV series), etc.

 Furthermore, Scheid is currently working on several of his new projects. His 2022 film Sour Milk is in the post-production stage. He is cast as the character Kevin. It follows other actors like Ryan Simpkins as Caroline, Emily Robinson as Sarah, Sierra McCormick as Abby, and Jason Butler as David. 

Scheid is also filming for his upcoming NBC TV series The Thing About Pam. Its release date is set for 8 March 2022.

Girlfriend 

Scheid is in a relationship with his girlfriend, Caroline Mixon. While much is not known about the couple, they have been dating for a few years now.

Caroline is an actress and dancer who has primarily gained fame for her appearances in the 2020 film The Will. She portrayed the character, Amber Spear, in the movie. 

In addition, Caroline has also acted on two episodes of the four times Primetime Emmy Award-winning HBO TV series Mare of Easttown. She appeared as Kerry in the episodes' Fathers' in April 2021 and 'Illusions' in May 2021.

Scheid and his girlfriend regularly feature on each other's social media handles. Lately, on 9 January 2022, he shared a series of pictures with Caroline in which the two are seen spending quality time with their loved ones.
