Early Life and Education
Russini was born on 11 February 1983 in Bronx, New York, to Camille and Rick Russini. She has a brother and a younger sister, Nicole Russini.
She grew up in the Norwood, New Jersey area. She was an All-State athlete in four sports - soccer, basketball, softball, and track.
She attended George Mason University from 2001 to 2005, where she was a Divison 1 soccer player for all four years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Journalism.
Career
From an early age, Russini was interested in a career as a reporter. While pursuing a degree in journalism, Russini worked as a Student Sideline reporter between 2003 and 2005 at Comcast.
After college, she started her career as a reporter at News 12 Westchester between 2005 and 2007. She was then hired by NBC News and got the opportunity to work as the WNBC General Assignment Reporter or Bureau Chief for a year.
In 2009, she moved to Seattle to work as a reporter and host for Comcast. It brought much recognition to her work. She again moved to NBC News. From 2011 to 2013, she worked as a sports anchor, reporter, and general assignment reporter for NBC and then gained a promotion to work as a sports anchor and sports reporter between 2013 and 2015.
In 2015, Russini entered ESPN as a SportsCenter Anchor and anchored for the programs NFL Live, Sunday NFL Countdown, Fantasy Football Now, Get Up, SportsCenter, and ESPN Radio network.
In 2019, Russini worked her first Monday Night Football as the sideline reporter for ESPN's season-opening contest between the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders. Likewise, she worked on NFL game broadcasts for ESPN Radio. In 2020, she was the reporter for the first season of XFL games on ABC.
