Davina Potratz is a real estate agent well known for her appearance in the Netflix reality show Selling Sunset.

Who is Davina Potratz?

Davina Potratz is an American former model, real estate agent, and broker. Her real estate career started in December 2005 with Azzura Colony Capital. Since then, she has served as a real estate agent for over a decade.

Potratz has secured property sales above half a billion dollars throughout her career as a broker. She has also served as an international sales and marketing consultant for several branded and headliner luxury developments.

Since March 2018, Potratz has served as The Oppenheim Group's new development director and broker associate. As a result, she is known for her role in the Netflix reality show Selling Sunset. The show follows the employees of The Oppenheim Group, a real estate firm in Los Angeles, and gives viewers a peek into the agents' professional and personal life. 

Moreover, Potratz was previously a series regular on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing, a property reality show.

She was also the Ford Model for 12 years besides real estate. Potratz has also served as the principal of new development sales & marketing for The Davina Group for the past six years.

Davina Potratz was born in December 1977 in Hamburg, Germany. As of January 2022, she is 44 years old. 

Her father is German, and her mother is half German, half Native American. On 30 December 2020, she posted a photo with her parents on Instagram celebrating her 43rd birthday. "I'm so happy and grateful to be able to see my parents and celebrate my birthday!" She captioned it.

Potratz finished her schooling at Hamburg's International School in 1995. She then graduated with a bachelor's degree in advertising from Pepperdine University in 1999.

Why did Davina Potratz Leave The Oppenheim Group?

Potratz announced her departure from The Oppenheim Group, a luxury real estate firm, in October 2020, to join opposing brokerage Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills. In an interview in 2020 with People, she explained, "I'm really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division." 

She also added that she had connections at the brokerage and made her an offer she couldn't deny. Potratz mentioned that her background is in new development sales and marketing, so it was a good opportunity. 

However, in November 2021, she returned to the Oppenheim group. When asked about what drew her back to the group, she said that Jason, her former boss, didn't want her to leave and tried to get her to stay. 

"He and I had an offline conversation where he's asking me to come back. It looks like I'm asking to come back, but it was really a joint decision, and he was very interested in having me return," Potratz stated in a 2021 interview with Vulture. Potratz also stated that she wanted to focus more on new development, and as she lives near the office, she could probably walk there.

In addition, she will also return to Selling Sunset season 5 as a regular cast member.

Husband

Potratz was previously married to a man who cheated on her, which led to the couple's divorce. However, there is no information about his ex-husband, including his identity.

After that, Potratz was in a relationship with a man named Alex for four years. She had also posted several pictures together on her Instagram. But fans assumed they had broken up after she deleted all photos with him. However, nothing has been addressed publicly.

Potratz also mentioned Alex in season two of Selling Sunset and featured him in her Instagram post, wishing him a happy birthday.
