David Albert Mazouz is an American actor born on 19 February 2001 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in Los Angeles with his elder sister, Rebecca. As of December 2021, he is 20 years old.
His mother, Rachel Cohen, is a 2nd generation Greek Holocaust survivor who works as a psychotherapist, while his father, Michel Mazouz, is a French/Tunisian physician. Mazouz lives in Palo Alto and attends Stanford University. He is earning a degree in Economics and Psychology alongside acting. He is also pursuing his passion for rap music and writing animation.
Mazouz began his acting career at the age of seven in commercials after taking acting classes with his older sister. After being found by an agent, he began auditioning and was drawn into the entertainment industry. He debuted in the TV movie Amish Grace in 2010. The same year, he also showed up in an episode of the CBS comedy Mike & Molly.
