Who is Darren Chen?

Darren Chen, real name, Kuan Hong, was born on 15 January 1995 in Taiwan. He is 26 as of 2021. 

Darren debuted in the show industry with the Chinese drama Proud of Love in 2016 and continued to play his role of Lin Yu Tang in the second season in 2017. Subsequently, he starred in the video short Hua Bei Hou De Wen Rou in 2018. 

His breakthrough appearance was in the famous Chinese drama Meteor Garden (2018), where he played the role of Hua Ze Lei. The drama was a remake/adaptation of the famous TV series Meteor Garden (its Taiwanese version), Boys Over Flower (its Korean version), and Hana Yori Dango (its Japanese version).

Chen made his film debut in 2020 with the romance comedy film Xx Love, also known as Oversize Love. In 2020, he also played his first leading role in Jackie Chan's historical mystery drama series, The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty. 

Chen can also be seen in the short Ai Cun Zai in 2018 and TV series My Unicorn Girl and Yu Zhao Ling in 2020.
