DiMaggio is the son of actress Loretta Fox and actor Lou DiMaggio. He lives with his parents in Los Angeles. Both of his parents belong to the film industry, so it was only natural for him to follow in their footsteps. DiMaggio began his career as an actor when he was just eight years old, first acting in a Honda commercial. 

Despite the engagement, he was a bright student with straight A’s in his academic report. He completed his primary level study at Los Feliz Charter School For The Arts in Los Angeles and attended Thomas Starr Middle School in Silverlake for subsequent studies. In 2021, he graduated from Providence High School in Burbank, California, with a magna cum laude.

DiMaggio started his acting career through commercials, eventually elevating to the film industry. He starred in the short Geisho in 2010. Subsequently, he guest-starred as the young Michael Westen in the TV series Burn Notice in 2014 in the episode titled ‘Psychological Warfare.’ 

A few more of his cameo roles in TV series include the character Trick or Treater #2 on Where the Bears Are (2014), Corky on The Haunted Hathaways (2014), Kal-El on Supergirl (2016), Classmate Boy on Vampirina (2017, 2018), and Artie on The Loud House (2016-2018).

He also appeared in the TV movies, A Tiger’s Tail (2014) as Tom Murphy, Divide & Conquer (2014) as Kyle Ball, Tales of Halloween (2015) as Mikey, and Daddy’s Home 2 (2017) as Young Dusty.

Furthermore, in the TV series short Clarence, he voiced Brady’s character from 2014 until 2016. DiMaggio is also well known for his portrayal of Oliver Otto in the television series American Housewife (2016-2021)

He shared his experiences of learning ballet for the show in an interview with Meaww in 2018. “At first, I didn’t really know much about it, so I just went with it. The lessons are usually about twice a week and I find it to be a really good workout.” DiMaggio expressed. “I learn things that I can use in the show, but to be a full-on ballet dancer, you have to really do it all the time and devote yourself to it. Since I already have a full-time job, I do the best I can to make Oliver look like a ballet dancer.”
