Who is Cindy Fitzgibbon?

Cindy Fitzgibbon is a meteorologist who began her meteorology career at the CBS affiliate, KXMB-TV, in Bismarck, North Dakota. In 1996, she launched a morning newscast with Stephanie Gorin on the NBC affiliate, WPTZ, in Plattsburgh, New York/Burlington, Vermont. She worked as a morning meteorologist at WPTZ for more than four years. She then showcased her forecasting skills at WBBH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Fort Myers, Florida, where she covered a tropical storm that hit Southwest Florida in September 2001.

In February 2002, Fitzgibbon joined the Fox affiliate, WFXT in Boston, Massachusetts, as a weekend meteorologist. She eventually rose to prominence as the meteorologist for FOX25 Morning News, which debuted in 2003. After working at WFXT for more than a decade, she joined WCVB's StormTeam 5 in April 2013. Since then, she has become one of the most prominent meteorologists of the station. 

As of 2021, she serves as the weather anchor for WCVB NewsCenter 5's EyeOpener and Midday newscasts on weekdays.

They have two sons. Their eldest son, Caleb, turned 16 years old on 1 October 2021. Their youngest son, Cameron, will be 14 years old on 17 December 2021.
