Chudney Ross was born Chudney Lane Silberstein on 4 November 1975 in the United States of America. She is currently 46 years in age. Though she was born in Los Angeles, her mother moved her to the east coast, leading to her growing up in New York and Connecticut. From 1993 to 1997, she studied Bachelor of Art at Georgetown University.

Ross is the daughter of Diana Ross and her father, Robert Ellis Silberstein. She grew up with her older sister, Trace Ellis Ross, and Rhonda Ross. When Chudney was two, her parents got a divorce. 

Diana Ross is a pop singer and actress popularly known for being a member of the trio, The Supremes. She is also known for her role in movies such as Lady Sings the Blues and The Wiz. Likewise, Chudney's father, Robert Ellis, is a Board Member of Universal Hip Hop Museum. He also works in branding and is associated with the marketing Manager. 

On 13 June 2020, Chudney posted a picture of Diana and Robert on Instagram, mentioning her parents' experiences as an interracial couple. On her Instagram, she reminisced about the historical incident of 12 June 1967. On that date, the Virginia state struck down the ban against interracial marriages.

She posted a picture of her parents taken in 1975 and captioned, "12 June, 1967, the Supreme Court struck down state bans on interracial marriage and deemed them unconstitutional. That's just 8 years before this pic of my mom and dad and baby me! Still a lot of work to be done to achieve racial justice and equality, but this is a win worth celebrating and it paved the way for my own."

Joshua Faulkner

Chudney Ross wed her husband Joshua Faulkner since 2015. Their wedding events were four days long, taking place in Hawaii. The flower girl for their wedding was their daughter, Callaway. Ross and Faulkner celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in June 2020.

Ross gave birth to their first child, Callaway, in September 2012, before their wedding. Ross gave birth to their second daughter, Everlee Ernestine, in October 2019. And when she was pregnant with her second daughter, she talked about gender fluidity. She said that the baby's social linkage with color and sex was not something she believed in. She added, "I understand that gender is fluid and sex is biological and I also don't prescribe to pink for girls and blue for boys. That being said, I can't stop buying everything pink."
