Early Life and Education
Caribe Devine was born on 15 June 1979 in Longview, Texas, near the border of Louisiana. But the reporter considers El Paso, Texas, as her hometown, as she moved there at the young age of 12. Devine has been interested in anchoring and journalism since her childhood. Devine began her career in journalism while she was still in high school. She worked as a news broadcaster at the Andress High School during her high school days.
But she picked a different route in college. Devine earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Texas at El Paso. She also has a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University.
Early Career
Soon after college, Devine returned to news broadcasting that landed her the first position as a weathercaster at KFOX-TV. KFOX-TV, virtual channel 14, is a Fox-affiliated TV station broadcasting at El Paso in Texas and Las Cruces in New Mexico. The Sinclair Broadcast Group owns the station as part of a duopoly alongside CBS affiliate KDBC-TV.
She subsequently moved on to KTSM-TV and began as a weekend weather reporter until she landed a job at 12 Action News. KTSM-TV, virtual channel 9, is an NBC-affiliate TV station broadcasting at El Paso in Texas and Las Cruces in New Mexico. Nexstar Media Group owns the network.

In 2005, Devine started her professional career at 12 News, a Phoenix NBC affiliate, as a weekend weather anchor and a live shot feature reporter. In 2011, she was promoted to weeknights as a head meteorologist of the Phoenix-based network. She was a pioneer for women in this field as the first female co-anchor of the network evening news.
Devine works as a meteorologist for programs such as EVB Live, 12 News at 5 pm, Arizona Nightly News, and 12 News at 10 pm on weeknights. She also conducts live conversations, and feature segments on EVB Live at 4 pm, besides delivering weather forecasts for all the evening shows.
