Erskine moved to Atlanta in 2011 and attended Georgia State University, where she began taking improv classes. She then spent two years studying acting before moving on to comedy writing.
In 2017, she enrolled in an all-women stand-up comedy class at The Punchline and began performing at open mics around Atlanta.
