Former Anchor and Reporter of WLS-TV ABC 7 NewsBen Bradley is an American journalist who co-anchors the WGN Evening News.
Who is Ben Bradley?
Ben Bradley was born and raised in Chicago. He went to Homewood-Flossmoor High School, graduating in 1993. The same year he started studying Bachelor in Broadcast Journalism, at the University of Missouri, Columbia eventually completed it in 1997.
He started his journalism career while he was in college as a weather anchor and reporter at KOMU-TV in Columbia. Then briefly, in 1997, he was a morning weather anchor and reporter at WCBD-TB in Charleston, South Carolina.
In 1997, Bradley joined CLTV News as an anchor and reporter in the Greater Chicago area and worked there for over five years until 2002. Subsequently, in 2002, he started working at the ABC affiliate WLS-TV ABC 7 News as a reporter & weekend morning anchor. He stayed in that position for 14 years till 2016 before joining WGN-TV in 2017.
Joining WGN-TV and Accolades
In January of 2017, Bradley started working for WGN News as an anchor and investigative reporter. In addition to that, he also co-anchors the WGN Evening News with Lourdes Duarte.
He has won multiple 'Emmy Awards' for his investigative reporting. At the same time, he has been awarded two Former 'Richard M. Daley's Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards' for his investigative reporting and a documentary.

Furthermore, Bradley is also a member of the Investigative Reporters & Editors Association and a former president of the Chicago Headline Club, the nation's largest branch of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Bradley's Wife and Children
Bradley is married and has three sons. He has not disclosed the educational and professional backgrounds of his wife. While last Christmas, on 26 December 2021, he posted a festive family picture and talked about his wife.
He captioned the picture, "That time my wife made us all wear our Christmas outfits to walk through the neighborhood visiting friends. And yes, the sweater she bought me says 'Dad Bod'."
