‘Chilling Adventure of Sabrina’
Ahlers appeared as Lucas Hunt in Season 4 Episode 3 titled ‘Chapter Thirty-One: The Weird’ of the Netflix supernatural horror series Chilling Adventure of Sabrina. Developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the series is based on the Archie comic book series of the same name.
It follows a teenage witch Sabrina Spellman (played by Kiernan Shipka). She must choose between the witch world of her family and the human world of her friends as her 16th birthday nears.
Premiered in October 2018, the series was canceled after four seasons in December 2020. However, the characters and storylines of the hit Netflix series later returned in the comic book form.

‘The Gilded Age’
The Gilded Age is an HBO historical drama television series created by Julian Fellowes. Set in the boom years of 1880s New York City, the series follows a young scion of a conservative family, Marian Brook (played by Louisa Jacobson).
Marian embarks on a mission to infiltrate her wealthy neighbors, a ruthless railroad tycoon George Russell (played by Morgan Spector), his rakish son Larry (played by Harry Richardson), and his ambitious wife Bertha (played by Carrie Coon). The series premiered on 24 January 2022.
Ahler portrays the role of Jack Treacher, a footman at the Brook house, in the HBO series. He hinted at a rich backstory for Jack while speaking about his character in an interview with Hollywood Life in January 2022.
He said, “Jack has a really, really rich backstory that I actually wasn’t privy to until later in the season, so that was its own challenge. How do you get to know this person when, especially with TV writing where everything keeps changing, the way that you perform character changes with the way that they’ll tweak the plot? There’s some really good stuff in the latter half of the season where you get to understand where this kid’s heart and brain come from.”
Ahlers is the grandson of Don and Beth Bottorff. On 12 September 2020, he shared his childhood picture with his grandfather on Instagram, along with a lengthy caption mentioning that his grandfather passed away two weeks earlier.
He also occasionally posts his throwback picture with his mother on Instagram. In one of those posts dated 23 April 2019, he wished her mother a happy birthday.
Furthermore, in a 2022 interview, Ahlers reminisced his childhood and his family's role in his career path.
"Growing up, my mom was so involved in the community theater because she has the most incredible voice. She and my dad grew up singing in a smaller town nearby the one that I grew up in. So, when my dad was working or playing golf, instead of hiring a babysitter, my mom would always just drag me to community theater practice....Then in high school, I kind of gave up on the theater thing for a while just because I'm from Iowa and my parents, like my dad's family, all wrestled, and so I was a four as a five sport athlete in high school," he added.
As of 2022, Ahlers has also not disclosed about his sexuality and relationships. His fans have linked his costars as his girlfriend, but he has not confirmed or denied the speculations.
