Bambi Benson is an American actress and reality television star best known for being the cast member of the VH1 reality series Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Who is Bambi Benson?

Bambi Benson, aka Adizia Benson, is a television personality, actress, urban model, video vixen, and entrepreneur. 

Benson appeared in VH1’s reality television series Baseball Wives in 2012 before prominently starring on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. The latter is a reality television show that chronicles the lives of several elite people in Atlanta involved in the entertainment industry and the drama surrounding their personal and professional lives. 

Benson debuted in Season 2 of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2013 in a guest-starring role as a potential love interest of hip hop media executive Benzino. Unfortunately, most of their scenes were cut when the show aired on television. However, those scenes were released as bonus material on the show’s website. 

Later, Benson joined as the supporting cast in the third season as a new girlfriend of American rapper Lil Scrappy and continued appearing on the show to date. The show completed its 10th season as of 2021.

In 2015, she made a guest appearance in one episode titled ‘The Wedding’ of Love and Hip Hop: New York. The same year, she guest-starred in one episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: After Party Live! 

Most recently, in 2021, she appeared in two episodes of Love & Hip Hop: Secrets Unlocked and seven episodes of VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition.

Besides her television career, Benson appeared in several films. She made her film debut in the 2008 direct-to-video religious film Color of the Cross 2: The Resurrection as a wife of Pontius Pilate (played by the Deadly Dispatch star Martinez). Her other film credits include Chocolate City (2015), Beauty and the Beholder (2018), and I Left My Girlfriend for Regina Jones (2019).

Benson also appeared in music videos of several music artists such as Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, and 50 Cent.

Furthermore, Benson is a beauty entrepreneur. She owns House of Shimmer, a salon and beauty supply in Atlanta, Georgia, where she also offers accessories, bags, and her luxury hair extensions line called Shimmer Elite Extensions.

Bambi Benson was born in Compton, California on 1 March 1986. She later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Benson’s age is 35 years as of 2021.

Who is Bambi Benson Married To?

Benson is married to her husband rapper, and record producer Lil Scrappy (real name Darryl Raynard Richardson III).

They co-starred on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta and experienced frequent relationship patch-ups and break-ups. They even got engaged in front of the camera on the show. 

Eventually, the couple secretly tied the knot in real life in September 2017. A month later, Benson told Hollywood Life that they weren’t trying to hide their marriage; they were willing to do it on their own.

There have been rumors about their divorce. However, they are still married and haven't got a divorce.

Benson and Scrappy have three children together. They welcomed their first child, son Breland in September 2018. Their second child, daughter Xylo, was born in August 2020, and their third child, Cali, was born in July 2021.
