Ashley Doherty is an American registered nurse and former TV personality.
She earned a bachelor of science in psychology with a minor in health education from Georgia College and State University in 2008.
After that, Doherty graduated from the University of Georgia with a master of social work in clinical/medical social work in 2010. Furthermore, Doherty attended Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2014 and received her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2017.
Doherty has been working as a registered nurse at Piedmont Healthcare and Nurse and Nurture since 2018 and 2019, respectively.
However, Doherty is widely recognized for appearing in season 3 of the reality dating show Married At First Sight. The third season of the show premiered on 1 December 2015.
The following year, she was featured in the sequel, Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

Doherty shared a photo from her wedding with her new husband on Instagram on 31 December 2019. However, the name of her husband is still unknown.
After the marriage, Doherty has changed her last name to "Ashley Alvarez" on her Instagram bio.
The couple also has a kid, a boy named Julian Louis Alvarez.
Doherty announced her pregnancy on 25 November 2020 on Instagram and shared a photo of her newborn baby, Julian Louis Alvarez, on 15 April 2021.
