Siciliano was raised in suburban Washington, D.C., he was born in 1974. His father was an attorney at the Federal Reserve. Likewise, his mother, Abby, grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State in 1968. He graduated from Syracuse University's S.O. Newhouse School of Communication in 1996. He served as the voice of the Orangemen football and men basketball team.

Siciliano got interested in broadcasting when he was a freshman in college. Before making his big break, he did many jobs, such as making McDonald's runs and producing shows on late notice. He was barely known until Jeff Joniak heard his tape running a local radio station. Joniak was impressed within seconds and hired him.
