Christopher Scott is a choreographer, dancer, actor, and producer. He first began his professional acting and dancing career with a role as a dancer in Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007 animated film).
Born in Takoma Park, Maryland, on 20 September 1983, Scott spent most of his childhood years in his hometown in Wheaton. At 14 years of age, he relocated to California, where he studied performing arts at Hollywood High School’s Performing Arts Magnet. Unfortunately, further information regarding his parents, siblings, early life, and other family members is yet not found on any authentic internet sources.
Scott has spent around one and a half-decade in the entertainment industry since making his debut in 2007. He holds around 19 acting credits, out of which his most notable appearances are in Step Up Film franchise (2008-2014), 17 Again (2009 film), The LXD: The Uprising Begins (2010 film), The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (2010-2011 TV series), Mary Poppins Returns (2018 film), etc.

Lately, in 2021, Scott has worked as a choreographer in the films In the Heights and Being the Ricardos. In the musical film, In The Heights, he collaborated with director Jon Chu and American actor and filmmaker Lin-Manuel Miranda. Scott talked about working with them in one of his interviews with The Au Review in June 2021. In the interview, he disclosed that Jon Chu was the one who gave him his first opportunity as a choreographer in the industry. He said,
He really created a path for me as a choreographer. He gave me my first opportunity, him and Jamal Sims, who was the choreographer on all the Step Up movies, 1 through 5.
Scott has been recognized with multiple accolades and awards for his decades-long contribution to the choreography field. He received three ‘Primetime Emmy Awards nominations for his work in So You Think You Can Dance. The first nomination was in 2012, followed simultaneously by 2014 and 2018.
