Her license as a lawyer was active until 21 January 2003. After becoming inactive as a lawyer, she pursued her career in screenwriting. She was a co-writer with Bob Saget for the 1990 comedy special Bob Saget: In the Dream State that aired on HBO.

He rose to fame in the late 1980s after portraying Danny Tanner in the comedy sitcom Full House, which aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995. Later Bob Saget reprised his role in its Netflix sequel Fuller House. From 1989 to 1997, he hosted an American video clip TV series titled America's Funniest Home Videos. From 2005 to 2014, he also voiced Ted Mosby's future on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. His comedy album titled That's What I'm Talkin' About was nominated for the 'Grammy Award' for 'Best Comedy Album' in 2014.
