Sarah Jade is a professional pole dancer and entrepreneur best known as the ex-wife of the actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista.

Who Is Sarah Jade?

She is a professional pole dancer and a businesswoman who is famously known as the ex-wife of the actor Dave Bautista.

Encouraged by YouTube videos of famous pole dancers, Jade was already practicing her moves during her late teen years. Her passion for pole dancing led her to win several awards and to commence a business of her own. She went on to win the title of ‘Miss Pole Dance America.’  

Early Life and Education

Jade was born on 12 December 1987 in Tampa, Florida. She went to the University of South Florida and graduated with a Sociology degree in 2011. She first discovered some videos about pole dancing on the internet and strived to enhance her skills. She then took years of training under the mentorship of Zoraya Judd and did regulars with Jamilla Deville, a famous aerial performer.

Career

Jade engaged herself in pole dancing when she was 18. She was influenced after she watched YouTube videos of famous dancers Alethea Austin and Karol Hems.

Since then, she has performed on various events such as Ink-N-Iron Showcase of the stars (2011-2016), Dance Filthy (2016), Nude Nite Aerialist (2015-2017), and Vertical Desires (2017). In addition, she has participated on several projects such as Pole Show LA (2014-2015), Florida Pole & Aerial Arts Showcase (2011-2016), Miss Pole Dance America (2015-2016), and Pole for a Purpose (2011-2017).

In 2012, she ranked second at the USPDF Amateur Nationals. She also participated in the Florida Pole Fitness Championship (Pro Division). There, she could earn the ‘Most Athletic ‘award for two times in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, she earned the title of ‘Miss Pole Dance America’ and became the brand ambassador of Bad Kitty, a famous pole dance costume business in the US. She endorses the clothing brand Grata Designs and shoe brand Nightshade Designs, a brand, especially for pole dancing.

Buttercup Pole Dance

Jade’s own passion and profession led her to establish Buttercup Pole Dance studio in 2011. It is a pole and aerial dance institute that provides pole dance, aerial silks, aerial hoop dance (lyra), and aerial sling.

The dance studio is located in Tampa Bay, Florida. Initially, the business started with only 900 square feet of area. The studio then gradually started to engage more members, and space couldn’t occupy the increasing number of aspirants. The institute required more expansion to enroll more students. Over eight years, the institute expanded to a 42,000 sq. ft. area.

Jade says she aspires to enlighten many people about the importance of pole dancing for overall health.  

What Happened Between Sarah Jade and Dave Bautista?

Jade married 19 years older then-active WWE star Dave Bautista on 7 October 2015. The marriage ceremony took place at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. The ceremony was accompanied by known faces from WWE such as William Regal, Chris Jerricho, and MVP. 

Bautista later posted his and Jade’s photo of their marriage on his Twitter. “DaveBautista and (SarahJadePole Bautista),” he captioned the image with a heart emoji.

This union was the first-ever marriage of the professional pole dancer; however, it was third in the case of Bautista. Before Bautista, the former wrestler was married to Glenda Bautista (married in 1990 and divorced in 1998). With Glenda, Dave has two daughters. Similarly, his second marriage with Angie ended after eight years. They had married in 1998. With Angie Bautista, Dave has a son who was born a year after their separation.

Bautista and Jade later divorced in 2019. In November 2019, Dave tweeted about him being single. “Annnnd I’m single again! WTF?!!!” The former WWE superstar had the tattoo of Jade’s name on his ring finger. Later after the divorce, he covered the name of his ex-wife with a spider tattoo.

Is Sarah Jade Dating Someone Since Bautista?

Although Jade hasn’t commented on her relationship status post her divorce with Bautista, she has been posting romantic snaps with an unidentified man on Instagram. On 26 February 2020, she posted a picture of her face approaching his cheeks near a picturesque snowy mountain. She wrote in captions: “Take me back to beautiful Colorado,” possibly hinting that she was missing him.

She has uploaded a couple of pictures with him on Instagram since then. In the photos, they can be seen having casual snaps at a dock to casually enjoying their time. 

Later on 25 March 2021, she appeared hugging and kissing the unidentified man’s cheek with his arms just below her nape. She wrote, “Saw a place that wasn’t my Netflix.” And in the comment section, the majority of the fans expressed happiness for the duo.

Jade has a mature dog named Franklin Beans. In January 2021, she wrote on her Instagram, “Franklin Beans just had his 10th birthday. Doing a heckin’ good job on his 2nd chemo cycle. Doing an even better job being the cutest living creature.”
